Yeehaw

Is it summer yet?  We are ready for long walks, going to the farm, swimming, and afternoons at the park.  Just a few more weeks, hopefully.

Candy Makes Me Happy

I loved this outfit (from Ellie's Nana).  I was so sad when November rolled around and she couldn't wear it anymore.  Good thing Ellie still insists on the skirt sometimes.

Halloween

This little girl was way too cute on Halloween.  She wore her cousins' Peacock outfit and it was
over-the-top adorable.  I mean, come on.  Look at this:
The rear view is just as darling as the front.

"Bah-Why-You....Go Cougars!"

This kid loves to cheer on the Cougars.  She has been to a few games now and sings,
"Rah rah rah rah rah, go Cougars!  Bah-why-you!"

Commissioning

In December, Scott graduated from BYU and Commissioned as an officer in the United States Army.
Scott's Dad (retired Navy Commander) got to do Scott's swearing in.

Scott's mom and I got to pin on Scott's rank.

It was a great day and we're so proud of the Army's newest Second Lieutenant.

Snow

These are from November, but it's pretty much the same thing every time it snows.
Ellie insists on getting all bundled up, then eating, crawling in, rolling around on, faceplanting into
the "snowing".

Ketchup

Yes, except for the last post, basically I haven't had new pictures since last summer.  Here come some short and sweet catch-up posts.

Ellie's Birthday From Papa and Nana Great

Ellie's great-grandparents are currently serving a mission in Florida.  All of her prayers start out, "Heavenly Father, thank you Nana Papa Great on the mission".  Even though they are far away, they didn't forget this lucky little girl on her birthday.

She didn't understand the concept of a check, but she loved her card.

We took Ellie to the bank to cash it herself.

It was a huge success.  She got a sticker for her shirt and two "money coins".

We took her to Toys R Us and walked up and down every aisle.  She finally decided on some mermaid and princess figurines.

She gave the cashier the money and said thank you.

Then we took them to Grandma's house and played and played and played.
Thanks "Nana and Papa Great!"  Ellie is one lucky girl.
