Ellie's Blessing

Two weeks ago, Scott blessed Ellie in church.  It was so fun to have family from both sides come for the occasion.  Scott gave a beautiful blessing even though she whimpered through the whole thing.  I looked for months to find Ellie a blessing gown, but I couldn't find one I really liked so Ellie wore the dress I was blessed in almost 22 years ago.

Sunday Afternoon

Watching basketball with Daddy on Sunday afternoon.

Guess Who's Going On A Mission?

Scott's sister Amanda!

Rachel served in the Spain Malaga mission from 2004-2006
Scott served in the Brazil Sao Paulo North mission from 2005-2007
Amanda will serve in the Florida Orlando mission from 2010-2011

Her call is also an American Sign Language assignment.

Congrats Amanda!

Bad Hair Day

My cute little girly looks like an old bald man.  The poor girl lost all her hair...on top.  According to Scott, she's rocking the "skullet".

Talk about a "bad hair day".

At least she's happy about it...

Her Dad is the only man she needs to impress right now anyway.

Photo Shoot

We had these taken when she was just a week old but it took me until now to go pick up the disc with the images.

I know it's kind of cheesy, but I wanted some pictures of her with Scott in his uniform.  I think it's just so cute!

Love that face!

Little nap in Daddy's helmet...

What should you do when the power goes out?

Go to Grandma's house.
She'll make you breakfast
And let you take a nap by the fire.
Thanks, Mom!

We decided to postpone...or prolong Scott's birthday.  I hadn't bought him a single present so we were supposed to go shopping on Tuesday (yes, on his birthday).  Instead, he had schoolwork and a migraine.  We stayed home most of the day, had no cake or candles, no special dinner, nothing.  My sister, Shannon, was the only one who really even acknowledged the poor guy's day.  We all really tried.  We'll just have to try again next week.  I hereby declare next Tuesday Scott's birthday.  I can do that, right?
